ABSTRACT

Objective@#To understand demand for emergency education among college students and to analyze the influencing factors, to provide the evidence for college to make prevention and controlling measures.@*Methods@#A survey was conducted among college students who were selected by stratified random sampling from 4 colleges in Liaoning Province, and data were analyzed using general descriptive analysis, chi-square test and multivariate Logistic regression analysis.@*Results@#There were 90.7% of college students who had urgent needs for emergency education. Students who were female(93.9%), seniors(94.4%), learning in medical colleges(97.6%), having mothers with higher education levels(92.6%), and living in urban areas(94.4%) had higher educational needs. Multivariate analysis showed that gender (OR=5.00), school category (OR=3.87), emergency attitude (OR=8.02), active learning behavior (OR=3.91), emergency knowledge self-assessment (OR=6.64) were influencing factors(P<0.05).@*Conclusion@#The emergency knowledge and preparation of college students were insufficient and emergency education was needed. The government and schools should strengthen their attention and input, develop more effective ways to disseminate emergency knowledge among students so as to improve their response ability.

ABSTRACT

The effect of high-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on potassium-chloride cotransporter-2 (KCC2) protein expression following spinal cord injury (SCI) and the action mechanism were investigated.SCI models were established in SD rats.Five groups were set up randomly:normal control group,SCI 7-day (7D) model group,SCI 14-day (14D) model group,SCI-7D rTMS group and SCI-14D rTMS group (n=5 each). The rats in SCI rTMS groups were treated with 10 Hz rTMS from 8th day and 15th day after SCI respectively, once every day,5 days every week,a total of 4 weeks. After the model establishment, motor recovery and spasticity alleviation were evaluated with BBB scale once a week till the end of treatment. Finally, different parts of tissues were dissected out for detection of variations of KCC2 protein using Western blotting and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique. The results showed that the BBS scores after treatment were significantly higher in SCI-7D rTMS group than in SCI-14D rTMS group (P<0.05).As compared with normal control groups,The KCC2 protein in SCI model groups was down-regulated after SCI,and the decrease was much more significant in SCI-14D model group than in SCI-7D group (P<0.05).As compared with SCI model groups,KCC2 protein in rTMS groups was up-regulated after the treatment (P<0.05).The up-regulation of KCC2 protein content and expression was more obvious in SCI-7D rTMS group than in SCI-14D rTMS group (P<0.05).It was concluded that 10 Hz rTMS can alleviate spasticity in rats with SCI,which might be attributed to the up-regulation of KCC2 protein. It was also suggested that the high-frequency rTMS treatment after SCI at early stage might achieve more satisfactory curative effectiveness.

ABSTRACT

There are so many difficulties in the practical teaching of professional health management.Firstly, many of the colleges' training modes are in chaos, lack of a definite professional orientation.Secondly, course system is miscellaneous and theory is out of line with practice.Lastly, there is a lack of stable and professional practice teaching platform.Guilin Medical College provides an innovative mode by means of setting up innovative practice curriculum group, and uniting community health service to construct practice platform, which can be reference for the current health management professional practice teaching innovation.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the role of human MutS homolog 2 (hMSH2), a newly identified protein ligand that was recognized by Vγ9δ2 T cells , in innate anti-gastric carcinoma immunity .Methods Flow cytometry and laser confocal microscopy were used to identify hMSH 2 that ectopically expressed on gas-tric carcinoma cell line 803.An anti-hMSH2 antibody was used to block hMSH2 to evaluate its effects on the cytotoxicity of Vγ9δ2 T cells and their cytokines secretion .Subcellular distribution of hMSH 2 in gastric car-cinoma tissues was examined by tissue microarray immunohistochemistry analysis .Results Ectopic mem-brane expression of hMSH 2 was observed on 803 cells at a relatively high level .Vγ9δ2 T cells blocked with specific anti-hMSH2 antibody showed a decreased cytotoxicity and a reduced IFN-γbut an increased TNF-αsecretion.Ectopic expression of hMSH2 was found in various types of gastric carcinoma tissues at different stages.Enhanced expression of hMSH2 was detected in specimens collected from patients with chronic super-ficial gastritis. Conclusion Ectopically expressed hMSH2 served as a stress-induced endogenous ligand which could promote the cytotoxicity of Vγ9δ2 T cells against gastric carcinoma cells and enhance their IFN-γsecretion.hMSH2 played an essential role in innate anti-gastric carcinoma immunity .

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the role of hMSH2, a novel endogenous tumor-associated pro-tein ligand recognized by Vγ9δ2 T cells, in innate anti-cervix cancer immunity .Methods hMSH2 that ex-pressed on the surface of cervical cancer cell line HeLa cells was blocked by specific antibody .Then the differences in their effects on Vγ9δ2 T cells before and after antibody blockage were evaluated by cytotoxicity of Vγ9δ2 T cells and cytokines secretion .The serum levels of hMSH2 in patients with cervical cancer were detected by ELISA .Distribution of hMSH2 in cervical cancer tissues was analyzed by TMA immunohisto-chemistry .Results Decreased cytotoxicity and IFN-γsecretion were observed in Vγ9δ2 T cells against He-La cells blocked with specific anti-hMSH2 antibody .Serum concentration of hMSH 2 in patients with cervical cancer was slightly higher than that of healthy control .Altered distribution pattern of hMSH 2 was observed in cervical cancer tissues .Conclusion hMSH2 is involved in Vγ9δ2 T cells-mediated innate anti-cervical cancer immunity by enhancing their cytotoxicity and IFN-γsecretion.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE To investigate the distribution and characterization of the classes Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ integrons on Stenotrophomonas maltophilia and clarify their influence on the bacterial drug-resistance.METHODS A multi-PCR assay using specific primers of int1,int2 and int3 was constructed to screen classes Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ integrons.RESULTS Class Ⅰ integron was detected in 13.4% of clinical isolates,3 isolates harbored among class Ⅱ integrons. There was not been reported in abroad.CONCLUSIONS Classes Ⅰ and Ⅱ integrons could play an important role in causing the antibiotic multidrug resistance.
